Happiness & Happy Holidays

It's funny how a different point of view can give different meaning to something mentioned over a year ago by me. Here's what I mean (as I plagiarize liberally from a post of mine from May of last year)

A paraphrasing of a passage from Billy Joel's, Scene's From an Italian Restaurant;

Things are okay with me these days
Got a good job, got a good office
I got a good wife, got a good life
And the family is fine

Things really are Okay with me these days. I am still at the same job/office (boring but good), My wife is still with me after 9 years (amazing!)  , life is generally pretty good (Watertown, None of the Above, my son is in Kindergarten, etc), and my family is as important and cherished by me, as ever. Both my "nucular" (thanks "W" ;-) family: My wife and son (our amazing "almost" six year old); and my closest friends/chosen family: AriesD, Taura_G,  & MIss_Sugarme (Anytime, Anywhere, No Matter What).

Things are okay with me these days... and i have all of these things (plus other wonderful friends & happenings/things  not mentioned above) to thank for it.

To this end, From my family to all of yours:
May you all have a Happy Holiday (Christmas, Solstice, Chanukah <insert your Holiday of choice here> ), and Here's to an incredible New Year for us all!
